- Location: Cambridge, MA
About the Job
The Director, Marketing – MPS I and ASMD is the brand strategy lead for Sanofi's ASMD and MPS I disease portfolio, encompassing Xenpozyme® (olipudase alfa) for Acid Sphingomyelinase Deficiency (ASMD) and Aldurazyme® (laronidase) for Mucopolysaccharidosis I (MPS I). This role owns brand strategy, campaign and messaging platform, brand planning process, and core team governance for these two disease areas, and serves as the primary U.S.-to-Global commercial partner for both brands.
The Director directly manages and develops a team of three — a Patient Experience Marketer, an HCP Experience Marketer, and a PharmD Fellow bringing strong people leadership, strategic thinking, and rare disease commercial expertise to the role.
A defining priority of this position is leading the transition of both the ASMD and MPS I brand away from traditional agency-dependent models toward a fully AI/digital marketing platform. This includes building internal digital capabilities, owning content and campaign production digitally, and systematically reducing reliance on external creative and media agencies over time — positioning this portfolio as a model for digital-first, agile brand marketing within Sanofi Rare Disease.
Join the team transforming care for people with immune challenges, rare diseases, cancers, and Specialty Care neurological conditions. In Specialty Care, you’ll help deliver breakthrough treatments that bring hope to patients with some of the highest unmet needs.
