Job title: Scientific Sales Executive

Location: Pune

About the job

The Scientific Sales Executive is responsible for promoting pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals (HCPs), building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and contributing to the company's sales targets and market share growth.

Main responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development

· Develop and execute territory business plans to achieve sales targets

· Conduct face-to-face meetings with healthcare professionals to promote Sanofi products

· Track and analyse sales performance metrics and market trends

· Identify new business opportunities within assigned territory

Customer Relationship Management

· Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers

· Record customer interactions and insights in CRM system

· Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information

· Collaborate with Key Account Managers on strategic accounts

Product Knowledge and Communication

· Maintain in-depth knowledge of Sanofi products, therapeutic areas, and competitive landscape

· Deliver clear, compliant, and effective product presentations to healthcare professionals

· Adhere strictly to compliance guidelines regarding promotional activities

· Stay informed about industry trends, healthcare policies, and market dynamics

Compliance and Ethics

· Ensure all activities comply with Sanofi policies, industry regulations, and local laws

· Maintain accurate records of all promotional activities and expenses

· Follow proper protocols for reporting adverse events

· Understand boundaries between promotional and scientific engagement activities

Collaboration

· Work closely with medical teams when HCPs request specific medical information

· Coordinate with marketing, medical affairs, and other internal stakeholders

· Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and company events

· Share market insights and customer feedback with relevant internal teams

About you

· Experience: freshers / Prior experience in pharma sales is preferred

· Soft skills: Communication/presentation skills/ Selling and negotiation skills.

· Technical skills: Product knowledge/Market Knowledge/Business Policy Knowledge

· Education: B. Sc. Or B.Pharma Preferred

· Languages: English
