Product Manager – Global AI Platform

Who You Are:

You are an influential, experienced Product Manager with a passion for building data and AI centric software products in an agile way. You are passionate about working with cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers and business analysts to build and deliver exceptional data products relying on data foundations, advanced data science capabilities, and /or compelling visualizations to make a difference for the patients of tomorrow. You are comfortable guiding technical implementation decisions drawing from various perspectives, benefits, dependencies and engineering commitments to create a comprehensive roadmap. You enjoy defining and guiding implementation of KPIs to ensure design and delivery of extraordinary applications.

Job Highlights:

• Acts as the bridge between internal users and platform engineering teams, ensuring AI/ML developers and data scientists are enabled with robust platform capabilities
• Translates product strategy into actionable requirements and supports end-to-end feature delivery
• Owns and refines the product backlog, collaborating daily with engineering and delivery leads
• Defines and tracks usage metrics and user feedback to guide continuous improvement
• Advocates for excellent user experience and developer experience across all platform capabilities, ensuring usability, accessibility, and adoption
• Works closely with engineering teams to scope solutions, resolve blockers, and ensure technical feasibility of platform features
• Communicates clearly with cross-functional stakeholders and ensures alignment on scope, priorities, and platform vision
• Conducts to sprint planning and supports the delivery team in maintaining high product quality and velocity
• Supports the readiness of cross-functional partners (e.g., security, architecture, compliance) for successful platform feature launches

Key Functional Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience working with technical users such as data scientists, ML engineers, or data engineers
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in backlog management and prioritization
• Curiosity and a strong “customer mindset” – ask “why” and “how” to clarify product direction
• Proven ability to collaborate across technical and business teams, and to handle ambiguity in complex environments
• Effective communication skills – can clearly convey goals, issues, and priorities
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and cross-functional product delivery teams
• Experience in healthcare, biotech, or other regulated environments is a plus
• Experience guiding large-scale, data-platform / data lake / data warehouse products
• 5+ years of experience in product management or delivering complex digital/data/AI solutions

Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications:

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and how internal teams use infrastructure to build and deploy models
• Familiarity with platform technologies such as cloud computing (e.g., AWS), containers, model serving, and data workflows
• Knowledge and experience working with modern cloud-based systems (AWS preferred) and data and AI practices such as data and ML engineering, DataOps, MLOps
• Understanding of technical platform products, and working with technical users such as
• engineers, ML engineers and data scientists
• Experience using backlog and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
• Awareness of platform usability and developer experience as a core product value
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
