​ Solution Architect

Position overview

Sanofi is seeking an experienced and visionary leader for the new role of Solution Architect, Global Functions. This role will be a peer to the Digital Architects within Global Functions, Architecture Center of Excellence, with primary responsibility for Solution Architecture of Identity, Access, Access Controls and Security Integrated Systems. The successful candidate will design and architect Identity, Security and Access Control solutions, while being skilled in network, security, integration architecture and leading transformation initiatives. This role will collaborate closely with the Digital Product Lines leads, Digital Global Security Leads from the Digital Delivery and Operations Organization, User Access Management Product Owners and Cybersecurity SMEs to deliver critical Architecture decisions that enable technology transformation in alignment with strategic Architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, evaluate Functional and Technical requirements for Identity, User Access Management, Access Controls and Security Integrated Systems solution components, transform them into Architecture Decision Records and deliver Architecture solutions. Ensure that global processes are scalable, efficient, and effectively integrated with other partner functions.

• Collaborate with Identity, User Access Management, Access Controls and Global Security stakeholders to identify key Architectural design problem statements and deliver Architecture solutions and key decisions, documented through the Architecture Decision Record ADR.

• Contribute to application rationalization, platform strategy, application governance and technical debt reduction. Apply rationalization to physical security, access control systems, security management platforms, etc. Contribute to Security Operation Centers (SOC), Access Control Systems and Physical Security Integrated Systems (PSIM) implementations involving complex security zone management, infrastructure needs and segmented network environments.

• Partner with Centers of Excellence (CoEs), DD&O Digital Delivery & Operations functions, Digital Products teams to ensure successful implementation and alignment with overall Architecture CoE strategies ensuring a cohesive and integrated system landscape that supports global and localized needs.

• Stay up to date about emerging trends and technologies in Identity, Access, Access Controls, Global Security, Cybersecurity Technology Architecture space and apply innovative approaches to enhance system capabilities and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Experience:

10+ years of experience in Architecting solutions in Identity, Access, Access Controls, Security, Global Security systems.

Experience with Saviynt, Sailpoint, Cyberark, EntraID, Prowatch, Genetec, Traka, Netvision, etc. are nice to have.

Demonstrated technical and functional proficiency in tools, systems and platforms across these domains enabling technical execution in Digital Transformation initiatives.

Technical, Functional and Strategic Skills:

Proven leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams through complex global technology initiatives.

Strong collaborative skills, particularly in working with diverse stakeholders across multiple regions.

Proven ability to anticipate business needs and manage technical debt while delivering Architecturally sound decisions for the Global Functions Architecture strategic roadmap.

Proven track record Architecting and designing scalable solutions for security management, access management, access Controls, Integration methodologies (Connectors, APIs), tools, security frameworks at the intersection of physical and digital security. Experience having driven solution architecture for identity security, having designed IGA Identity Governance solution on one or more identity management solution suite, depth of understanding in identity management and governance use-cases. Prior exposure to network segmentations, access control authentication & authorization, SIEM security information & event management tools are nice-to-have.

Focus on innovation with ability to Architect solutions with AI agents, rationalization and tech debt reduction. Knowledge of security standard processes, including role-based access control, data security policies, and integration security protocols. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and strategies to diverse audiences. Experience in Agile product-oriented deliveries is advantageous. Experience working closely with Technology leaders and business stakeholders, to achieve integrated and effective solutions. Curiosity-driven approach for problem solving and passion for continuous learning.

Education:

Degree in Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or Certification, relevant Architecture and Cybersecurity certifications are preferred.
