Summary of the Role
As Digital R&D Internal Engagement Lead, you'll support communication and team engagement initiatives that contribute to Sanofi's ambitious Digital R&D strategy to halve time from drug discovery to patient. Ready to get started?
The Digital R&D Internal Engagement Lead will work closely with the Digital R&D Engagement Lead to execute internal communications, coordinate engagement activities, and support connection-building across our geographically dispersed team. This role focuses on tactical execution, content creation, and operational support to help build a unified, informed, and motivated global workforce aligned with our mission to chase the miracles of science.
You will also work closely with the Head of Product strategy to design and drive transversal Digital R&D initatives to empower our workforce (PO co-lab, agentic programmes etc)

Key responsibilities
Internal Communications Support
Execute internal communications plans
Create engaging content for various channels including newsletters, announcements, presentations, and visual materials
Maintain and update communication material and resources for consistent messaging
Manage Viva Engage presence including posting content, moderating discussions, and responding to community questions
Monitor engagement metrics on digital platforms and provide regular reporting
Support the catalyst network by providing resources, coordinating activities, and facilitating communication
Collaboration & Coordination
Design & drive transversal Digital R&D initatives to empower our workforce (PO co-lab, agentic programmes etc.)
Define success metrics and measure impact
Coordinate with R&D and Digital communications teams to ensure alignment on messaging and initiatives
Support Change Management activities in alignment with Take the Lead ambition
Build relationships with stakeholders across Digital & Digital R&D to facilitate effective communication flow
Engagement Activities & Events
Support logistics and coordination for global town halls
Coordinate engagement initiatives designed to strengthen team culture and connection across regions
Propose and support execution of team events & recognition programs
Gather and organize feedback from engagement activities to inform continuous improvement
About You
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field
2-4 years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, event coordination, or related roles
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with ability to create clear, engaging content for diverse audiences
Experience with digital collaboration platforms (Viva Engage/Yammer, SharePoint, Teams, or similar)
Solid organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and virtual event platforms (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
Experience working in cross-functional or global team environments
Ability to be present in Sanofi offices compliant with policies, currently 3 days per week
Ability to travel up to 10% to support key events and meetings
Business fluency in English (Business fluency in French a plus)
