Main responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve company objectives and sales goals while ensuring strategic plan implementation

  • Set clear objectives and priorities for your sales team, track performance by team and individual members, and provide constructive feedback and coaching

  • Conduct regular team meetings (face-to-face or remote), accompany team members in the field, and mentor them on a routine basis to drive excellence

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key external experts, stakeholders, and institutions to shape medical and pharmaceutical community opinions

  • Collaborate effectively with Customer Experience Partners, Customer Engagement Leads, Medical Managers, Strategic Partnership Leads, and Team Coordinators to ensure seamless execution

  • Provide valuable insights on therapeutic areas, treatment options, emerging standards of care, and competitive intelligence to internal partners

  • Participate in brand meetings, collect and analyze team results, and present strategic insights to internal stakeholders

  • Support professional development of team members by identifying skill gaps, providing learning opportunities, and building a motivated, engaged team culture

  • Recruit and train new team members while ensuring compliance with all global and local policies and procedures

About you

  • Experience: Proven track record in pharmaceutical sales management with experience leading and developing high-performing teams

  • Leadership skills: Strong people management capabilities with experience in performance management, coaching, and talent development

  • Industry knowledge: Deep understanding of the vaccines/pharmaceutical industry, therapeutic areas, and competitive landscape

  • Stakeholder management: Excellent relationship-building skills with ability to influence and engage key external experts and internal partners

  • Communication: Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work across cultures and functions

  • Business acumen: Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies

  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in complex, changing environments while maintaining high ethical standards and compliance
