We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to partner with the organization’s People leaders in Budapest Hub and People & Culture (P&C) teams in Hungary as the catalyst for the deployment of the One Sanofi People Strategy for the company. The incumbent will contribute to the achievement of the company's short- and long-term goals by providing P&C support whilst ensuring alignment to Sanofi’s Global Business Strategy as well as the Take the Lead culture.

As a member of the Hungary Greece & Ukraine (HGU) Cluster organization People & Culture team, you will be expected to work in close partnership with the People leaders and the rest of the P&C community, as well as the production line colleagues at the site.

As a People Excellence Partner at our Hub, you'll be the trusted P&C partner on the ground — the first person leaders turn to when it matters most. As a People Excellence Partner, you bridge the best of all worlds: the power of Sanofi's global Centers of Excellence, the strategical direction driven by People Business Partners and the nuance of local execution. You'll bring global frameworks to life in ways that are culturally relevant, legally compliant, and genuinely impactful.

The Budapest Hub in Hungary is the largest office for nearly half of the Sanofi employees of our Multi Country Organization (MCO) of Central & South Europe. The Hub hosts currently more than 1800k employees with the perspective to grow further. We engage with a diverse group of employees, of 70+ nationalities ranging from local, regional and global team members of Financial, Procurement, People and Culture, M&S, Automation, Medical, R&D, Digital & Procurement Services supporting them globally in different languages. 

In this position in order to Play to Win you will be expected to partner with business leaders both within Hub and globally. 

  • Employee Relations & Compliance
    Be the go-to expert on local employment law. You'll provide confident, trusted guidance to leaders and employees, ensuring every decision is grounded in the local legislative framework — while partnering closely with works councils and unions where applicable.

  • Stakeholder Management
    Act as the trusted advisor to business leaders and people managers, translating global business strategies into actionable local people initiatives. Guide managers through Your Voice survey action planning, helping them transform employee feedback into meaningful workplace improvements. Serve as the bridge between strategic intent and local execution, ensuring business needs are seamlessly integrated into people practices while maintaining cultural sensitivity and regulatory compliance.

  • Organizational Effectiveness
    Partner with Global People Business Partners to bring organizational change to life locally — from restructuring and system updates to people transitions. You'll help leaders navigate complexity with clarity and care.

  • Talent & Performance
    Enable people leaders to get the best from their teams. Whether it's supporting Talent Acquisition on-site, guiding managers through Talent Management cycles, facilitating local learning delivery, or helping leaders navigate Rewards & Performance frameworks — you make it simple and effective.

  • Local Excellence
    Adapt and reflect CoE guidelines into local processes, procedures, and policies. Where language, culture, or legislation requires a local touch, you deliver it — ensuring global consistency never comes at the cost of local relevance.

  • Digital Adoption
    Champion the use of ESS/MSS and OneSupport across your population. You'll proactively coach managers and employees to self-serve with confidence, freeing up capacity for higher-value work.

  • Continuous Improvement
    You don't just execute — you improve. Through active feedback loops and a sharp eye for process gaps, you'll identify and implement ideas that make the people experience better for everyone.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • minimum 3-5 years of HR experience in an HRBP position.

  • Knowledge of Hungarian labor laws and employment regulations.

  • Strong understanding of end to end HR processes including talent management, compensation, and organizational development.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels.

  • Analytical & Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively.

  • Fluency in Hungarian and English (both written and verbal).

  • Experience with HRIS systems (Workday knowledge is a plus).
