Quality Analytical Intern

About the job

Main responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory equipment maintenance, cleaning and calibration as and when required
• Support the general laboratory activities, including laboratory housekeeping and staging of chemicals, reagents, and consumables
• Support inventory management, contract lab management and waste management for QC laboratory
• Participate and contribute to laboratory continuous improvement with regards to safety and operational efficiency

At the end of the internship, you will:

• Have an understanding of good manufacturing practices, good laboratory practices, good documentation practice and data integrity requirements
• Have an understanding of the role Quality Control plays in ensuring product quality and safety for patients
• Gain technical skills in a laboratory setting, including operation of laboratory equipment and maintaining inventory of chemicals and consumables
• Gain experience in QC laboratory workflow and processes

About you

Technical skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability in scientific/ investigative report writing
• Basic understanding of pharmaceutical plant operations and test methods

Soft skills:

• Fluency in English speaking and writing
• Ability to communicate well and collaborate with others
• Problem solving and critical thinking
