The Global M&S Services acts as a cornerstone to this effort. Our team is responsible for delivering and supporting M&S teams by acting as a crucial link between our R&D and Manufacturing facilities, playing a vital role in securing the present portfolio and delivering future launches of high-quality and innovative drugs and vaccines. The team members of the global M&S Services Hub will act as partners in carrying out tasks and fulfilling responsibilities to support global manufacturing sciences, analytics, and technology activities with a focus on global project management. Significant experience in the development of medical devices, drug device combination products and/or primary containers, and creation of Design Control documentation is necessary.

The Engineering organization is responsible for providing comprehensive Engineering support for GMP facilities across our global manufacturing sites. Our team:

• Supports commercial manufacturing operations and Global Cell Banking operations

• Maintains validated systems and ensures regulatory compliance

• Provides engineering support for all cGMP process and utility systems

• Manages facility planning and construction projects

• Collaborates across campus/site organizations to ensure seamless operations

About the job

Main responsibilities:

• Support Project Charter Creation:  

Support development project charters to align with business objectives. 

• Drawing Monitoring and Tracking: 

Establish and maintain systems to track progress, resources, and costs. Ensure timely tracking of CAD activities against schedule and cost parameters. Feasibility Studies and Risk Management: Support feasibility studies, risk assessments, and mitigation planning.

• Project Planning, Scheduling and Resource Management:

Create comprehensive project plans. Maintain schedules, including key milestones. Set up and track the project in project management tool (e.g., Planisware). Maintain Resource Management capabilities for governance and analytics. 

• Communication, Documentation and Reporting:

Support communication and stakeholder management plans. Assist in coordinating core and extended team activities. Creation and maintenance of action / decision log.Support documentation for team management. Assist in maintaining quality and regulatory documents. Prepare financial reports and provide regular project updates.

• Project Change Management:

Support and documentation of project changes, including finance, resources, and scope. Handle cost calculations and change orders. 

• Project Closure, Transition and Lessons Learned:

Facilitate administrative and system closure of projects. Archive project documentation and deliverables. Prepare for project transition to manufacturing teams. Facilitate project reviews and lessons learned sessions. 

About you

• Experience:

- Proven experience as manager of large team, with recognized leadership skills.

- Proven track of experience in operational and technical drawings responsibilities, as well as resource allocation. Knowledge in document management systems, industrial design, in regulated industries (food, medical devices, aerospace). 

• Technical & Soft skills:

- Strong leadership skills, communication skills, effective in a complex, global organization.

- Effective interpersonal skills. 

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Agile thinker and learner, adaptable to dynamic environments.

- Strong software and computer skills .

- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. 

- Strong technical aptitude and analytical thinking. 

- Ability to anticipate risks and guide teams to strategic solutions.

- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, ERP systems).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 

• Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Advanced degree in engineering or scientific discipline preferred. 

- Project management certification (PMI/PMP) is a plus. 

• Languages:

• English (written and spoken) – required
