As a Patient Experience Salesforce Omni-Studio Engineer, you will play a critical role in technical design, development, unit testing, deployment and code quality management that directly support our patient services mission. This position combines deep technical expertise in Salesforce OmniStudio with a strong commitment to patient privacy, data security, and healthcare compliance standards.

Main Responsibilities

Digital Patient Experience team is seeking a skilled OmniStudio Developer with strong experience in Salesforce Health Cloud. The ideal candidate will have at least 6-9 years of experience in software development and be proficient in various technologies, including OmniStudio components, VSCode, JavaScript, CSS, GitHub, SOQL & knowledge of Apex and LWC is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Salesforce OmniStudio Developer role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining technology solutions using the Omni Studio platform within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• These roles require a strong understanding of both Salesforce development, Omni Studio.

• Development & Customizations: Develop & review the complex solutions using Omni Studio Components - OmniScripts, Integration procedures, Data Mappers, Data raptors, Flex cards and also standard Salesforce features.

• Lead the design and development of custom Health Cloud applications, focusing on patient 360 views, care plans, provider networks, and operational workflows.

• Technical Expertise: Develop custom code using Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, configure Health Cloud features, and manage data models.

• Integration: Build secure integrations with external systems (EHR/EMR) using Integration Procedures, Data Raptors, Strong experience in calling external APIs and healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR).

• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, Product Owners, Engineering leads, and external stakeholders to translate complex healthcare requirements into technical solutions.

• Mentorship & Best Practices: Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and development standards.

• Compliance: Ensure all solutions meet HIPAA regulations and healthcare data security standards.

• Performance & Support: Optimize system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, manage deployments, and provide support for production issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.

• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.

Healthcare Compliance and Patient Data Protection

• Maintain strict adherence to Sanofi Patient Services standards and compliance requirements.

• Ensure all solutions comply with PHI (Protected Health Information) and PII (Personally Identifiable Information) regulations.

• Implement GDPR-compliant data handling, storage, and processing practices.

• Maintain patient data safety and privacy as the highest priority in all technical decisions.

• Participate in compliance audits and implement remediation actions as needed.

• Stay current with healthcare data regulations including HIPAA, GDPR, and other applicable standards.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or in Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software development.

• Managing and maintaining Salesforce environments to ensure stability and scalability.

• Developing and automating deployment processes for Salesforce applications.

• Collaborating with development teams to design, build, and optimize Salesforce solutions.

• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.

• Ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

• Managing version control and repositories for Salesforce projects.

• Providing technical support and guidance to Salesforce users.

• Reviewing and merging work in source control.

• Development knowledge in Salesforce Health Cloud, CSS, JavaScript, LWC, VSCode, and GitHub

• Must have good development knowledge in OmniStudio

• Experience with Evaluation flows, Platform events, CDC, REST and SOAP API, bulk API is mandatory

• Knowledge of Agentforce is desirable

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices to streamline development and deployment workflows.

• Good to have OmniStudio Developer and Salesforce Platform Developer I certifications
