As Specialty Care Global Public Affairs CoordinatorVIE within our Global Public Affairs (PA) for Specialty Care, you’ll be a part of critical function and essential partner in the successful development and execution of the company’s strategy. We set the global strategy to support sustainable access to innovation, shape the policy environment and address the unmet needs of patients, caregivers and the community. We do this by engaging with patients, caregivers, policy makers and other relevant stakeholders to shape the healthcare policy environment. Main responsibilities:
- Supporting the overall coordination of GPA activities, direct support to the GPA Leadership Team (LT) including coordination of weekly LT meetings, project-based internal engagement and communication with the extended PA network (countries and the Corporate Affairs community)
- Preparation of the draft content of internal and external presentations.
- Work closely with the Head of Early Pipeline Policy Strategy to organise an annual strategic meeting with country colleagues and perform analyses of a range of health policies impacting patients and pharmaceutical sector (e.g., regulatory/innovation frameworks, access policies, value-based pricing/contracting) to best inform early pipeline R&D efforts, support the development of Sanofi positions in given areas and subsequently, local affiliates in their policy shaping efforts.
- Direct support to the GPA Head of Patient Strategy on various projects around the global Specialty Care patient strategy including, but not limited to the Partnership Quality Survey (an annual survey assessing the quality of partnerships between Sanofi and patient advocacy groups) and the Specialty Care Co-Lab (a group composed of patient advocacy group leaders and Sanofi colleagues, who work to co-develop materials to support patient advocacy).
About you
Experience:
- Prior experience working in a pharmaceutical company or in a corporate environment focused on health, particularly in the areas of public health, policy, advocacy and/or market access is a plus.
- Prior experience in providing project management support, working on marketing campaigns and/or outreach initiatives at global/regional/local levels would be an asset.
Soft and technical skills:
- Excellent analytical, communication skills, with strong ability to develop presentations.
- Strong planning and project management skills & focus on delivery.
- Ability to work transversally across functions and with different countries and cultures.
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize and work under set deadlines.
- Ability to blend in the team, work autonomously and function efficiently in a multi-tasking work environment.
- Proactive and solutions focused across projects.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems and understanding of the role health policy plays in supporting patient access to medicines.
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Public Health, Business Administration or in any related field (Political science, Law or MBA).
Languages:
- Very good level of written and oral English.
