2027 Summer Co op Utility Engineering Swiftwater PA

• Conduct criticality and gap assessments for utility equipment and components

• Develop and analyze historical maintenance trends to support periodic equipment reviews

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist in the documentation of deviations

• Investigate utility equipment-related failures and contribute to formal investigation reports

• Support implementation of equipment changes through the Change Control and CAPA processes

• Update engineering drawings and technical procedures to reflect current equipment status

• Specify and source replacement parts for critical equipment

• Capture and document user requirements for utility systems and equipment

• Conduct utility equipment walkdowns to assess condition and performance

• Define and maintain spare parts lists for assigned equipment

About you

 Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, or related fields.

• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the Internal requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship. 

• Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Strong documentation skills with attention to accuracy and detail

• Familiarity with mechanical systems, automation technologies, or process equipment

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00 USD hourly. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
