About the job
The Workplace Experience Lead Nordics will be part of the North Europe Workplace Experience (WX) Organisation, managing operational excellence across the Nordic countries (4 offices). This role will work closely with the integrated Workplace Experience (iWX) partner who manages daily operations in the Nordic countries, the Sanofi WX&HSE Officer in Finland, as well as the WX team in the Benelux and the HSE function.
You will manage the daily operations, projects, awareness campaigns, and hospitality standards, ensuring compliance with local laws, corporate policies, and financial alignment within the Nordic region. The role will also act as the Nordic representative for real estate matters, vendor management, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
Our Team in the Nordics
The team works according to iWX principles, with an external partner managing daily operational tasks. You will work closely with the iWX support in different Nordic countries, the Sanofi WX&HSE Officer in Finland, and the North Europe WX&HSE team. Hospitality, employee wellbeing, compliance and a safe work environment are key priorities.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible to Ensure compliance with local laws and Sanofi standards for WX (incl. HSE).
- Oversee operational performance by managing service providers and monitoring KPIs.
- Manage budgets, purchase orders, and financial reporting for WX (incl. HSE) in the Nordics.
- Act as main contact for internal and external stakeholders including Site Management Teams, P&C (HR), WX colleagues, iWX providers, and vendors.
- Serve as the Nordic representative for the Head of Workplace Experience & HSE North Europe.
- Oversee fleet management operations, including CO₂ reduction and policy compliance.
- Lead or support WX, HSE, and Real Estate projects and continuous improvement initiatives at local or Nordic level.
- Participate in crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity planning.
- Ensure consistent reporting of data within the WX and HSE area.
- Promote high levels of hospitality within the Nordic sites in alignment with the Hybrid Work Policy.
- Ensure local affiliates follow applicable legislation and corporate guidance; act as security representative for the Nordic offices.
About you
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent expertise in Facility Management, HSE, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in Facility Management, Health, Safety & Environment, or Workplace Experience, ideally in an international organization.
- Proven experience managing teams, ideally including external service providers.
- Experience in policy making, process development, and operational procedure implementation.
- Experience in financial management and budgeting.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strategic and operational thinking.
- Strong understanding of WX and HSE processes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Fluency in English and a Nordic language; knowledge of additional Nordic languages is a plus (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish).
- Autonomous and results-driven with a strong hospitality mindset.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio
