Sanofi Supply Chain Transformation
Sanofi has been engaging since several years into a transformation program of Digital Supply Chain processes, and related information system, including distribution, customer service, articulation with manufacturing systems, and planning systems.
Under the main transformation program SCCORE, major stream is Supply Chain Planning, and includes the implementation of Kinaxis planning system covering forecasting, DRP, multi-sites planning, CMO collaboration & S&OP, as a core model and progressively implemented worldwide and each Global Business Unit. Program is currently in roll-out acceleration phase.
SCCORE is taking place in parallel and supporting other company programs such as i-SHIFT program (integrated ERP for Manufacturing, Distribution and Finance).
About the Role
We are looking for a Digital Platform Owner - SC Planningto lead the strategic and operational management of our Kinaxis-based planning platform, Maestro. This role is critical in ensuring the platform delivers high performance, user satisfaction, and continuous improvement across our global supply chain planning community.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Ownership & Strategy
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the Maestro platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
Define and maintain the product roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders and IT.
Ensure the platform is always running on the latest vendor-supported version.
Performance & Operational Excellence
Performance is a key challenge and priority: continuously monitor system behavior to detect abnormal performance, high CPU usage, or latency issues.
Establish proactive monitoring tools and alerts to detect performance degradation before it impacts users.
Act as the first responder to performance events, including on-call support during weekends, and coordinate root cause analysis with Kinaxis.
Maintain close contact with users to gather feedback and detect performance issues early.
Lead housekeeping activities and ensure performance-related improvements are prioritized in the backlog.
Report platform performance metrics monthly and share insights with business stakeholders.
User & Access Management
Ensure the right level of support for over 2,000 active users globally.
Manage user access and role-based authorizations to ensure data security and compliance.
Coordinate user enablement, training, and documentation—especially during major transitions like the migration to the web-based version in March 2026.
Change & Release Management
Coordinate platform upgrades, enhancements, and release cycles in collaboration with IT and the vendor.
Support the fit-gap analysis between the current Java version and the upcoming Web version.
Ensure all enhancements and change requests are properly documented, tested, and deployed.
Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration
Manage the relationship with Kinaxis and other vendors, including:
Contract negotiations (e.g., extensions, new modules, user licenses).
Monitoring vendor responsiveness to open issues and escalations.
Overseeing the deployment of new capabilities under development for Sanofi.
Liaise with vendors to follow up on enhancement requests, platform updates, and roadmap alignment.
Act as the main point of contact between business users, IT, and the vendor for all platform-related topics.
Our ideal candidate has:
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
- Engineer degree with industrial culture
- APICS-CPIM / CSCP as advantageous
- Fluent in English
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- 5+ year experience as in supply chain planning domain
- Proven experience in product/platform ownership, ideally in supply chain planning or enterprise SaaS platforms
- Strong understanding of Kinaxis RapidResponse or similar planning tools.
- Experience managing large user bases and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Experienced in meeting facilitation, agile methods, lean IS approach
- Good knowledge of application integration process points with execution systems (SAP APO, PP, PI, MM, SD, QM; E2Open Collaborative Inventory Management, Collaborative Order Management)
