Join our innovative Autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes team as a Medical Engagement Lead and you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring strong collaboration between Medical office/HQ activities and field activities to enable successful execution of the Medical strategy for our first-in-class therapy.

Main responsibilities:

• Engaging proactively and reactively with healthcare professionals and institutions through various channels to share scientific information
• Engaging external stakeholders on medical and scientific topics for the aT1D therapeutic area, both one-to-one and in group settings
• Organizing and engaging KOLs & HCPs in local scientific meetings (e.g., hospital staff meetings, webinars) based on the Stakeholder Engagement Plan, aligned with the aT1D Medical Plan for the Netherlands and North Europe
• Providing accurate, balanced, and high-quality scientific information to key stakeholders in response to unsolicited requests
• Supporting investigators in IIR submissions and managing local advisory boards.
• Developing and executing individual stakeholder engagement plans in alignment with the Medical Plan
• Contributing to and managing evidence-generation activities, including internal projects and investigator-initiated studies (IIS)
• Overseeing internal governance and strategy, including approval of medical and marketing materials, and contributing to the aT1D Medical Strategy for the Netherlands
• Providing medical expertise for market access dossiers and material approval
• Collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders while ensuring full compliance with company, industry, and regulatory requirements

About you

• MD, PharmD with research background preferred
• Deep understanding of Type 1 Diabetes therapy area and/or immunology (prior experience in type 1 diabetes is desired)
• At least 5 years of industry experience in Medical Affairs
• Excellent scientific exchange and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multiple channels
• Strategic and analytical thinking capabilities, with ability to disrupt status quo while remaining pragmatic
• Excellent project management skills and ability to execute multiple responsibilities while prioritizing
• Fluency in English and Dutch, both written and verbal
