In this role you will…

• Apply advanced analytics techniques to inform real world data (RWD) strategy & enable reporting of the values of RWD
• Be a go-to person on the design, implementation & interpretation of data analysis, focusing on evaluating data quality and fit-for purpose usage that maximizes the values of real world data. Primary responsibilities include working with and understanding data analysis and RWD integration requirements
• Using a deep understanding of data and technology to help business stakeholders achieve their desired outcomes
  

In this role you will be directly accountable and responsible to:

• Data manipulation, data analysis, data interpretation, documentation & data reporting of data in Sanofi’s warehouse or authorized trusted resource environment. This also requires the ability to report out the state of data quality, help with preparation of data verification and testing methods, and process improvement including automation. Identify and analyze RWD needs and coordinate between stakeholder groups to address them and deliver prompt, efficient, quality service
• Work with local real world data leads to understand requirements for data use, analysis, and quality
• Leverage data and facts to identify patterns, using judgment to form conclusions that may challenge conventional wisdom, and focusing on the issues to identify high leverage intervention points and strategies
• Manage requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation processes to capture business and end user needs
• Inform selection of RWD, RWD strategy and support creation of RWD-related business case
• Identify and aggregate data from internal and external sources. Identify new opportunities to leverage data and to integrate data or applications to enhance business value
• Deliver in compliance with quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirements
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) with specific objectives and develop solutions to measure value and track KPIs
• Analyze data and display it in reports to aid decision-making. Create charts and data documentation with explanations of algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships
• Analyze current ETL procedures to define and create new systems

About you

Education

• Post-secondary degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, bioinformatics or equivalent professional experience
  

Experience

• Over 3 years of experience as Analyst (performed data manipulation, data analysis, data interpretation, documentation & data reporting)
• Expert in data manipulation techniques & data analytics
• Data quality and audit techniques
• Good understanding of cloud computing and data solution design
• Proficiency in data querying, data recording and cleaning, transforming data from long to wide (and vice versa), integrating data across multiple data sources & generating informative using Python, R, ETL/ELT, Snowflake, SQL, Informatica, AWS
• Background with data visualization tools and systems such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Microsoft BI stack
• Be familiar with MS SQL Server BI Stack tools and technologies, such as SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DAX
• Analytical thinking for converting data into relevant reports, visualizations and data stories
• Pragmatic and capable of solving complex issues
