Job Title - People Business Partner - Business Operations Tower(s)

Job Location - Hyderabad

This role will give you the opportunity to implement and co-develop people strategy for Business Operations (BO), working alongside other P&C colleagues and teams (such as talent, rewards & performance, learning & development, culture, people excellence partners). You will also bring the people agenda to life by advising, coaching, and influencing business leadership teams. Furthermore, coordinate and manage projects to overcome people challenges and build capabilities.

Key responsibilities of the role:

People Business Partnering

  • Partner with the global leaders of your client groups and their teams to deliver the people agenda
  • Work closely with all respective P&C colleagues around talent exchanges, with the People Excellence Partners / HR Business Partners in India to support people managers on leading, retaining and developing their people and actively developing their leadership succession pipeline – through common focused development activities, leveraging available programs and tools
  • Bring the vision of Business Operations / hubs to life, translating it into people results to drive standardisation in employee experience while providing solutions to business challenges

P&C hub design, framework & implementation of priorities

  • Establishing P&C functions strategic & operational roadmap for 2024 & beyond for your client groups
  • Implementing P&C priorities on Healthy Org, Talent, Culture & Diversity for your client groups to ensure uniformity & standardisation of employee experience along with all other local P&C teams like Talent Acquisition, Rewards & Performance etc.
  • Work closely together with Hyderabad Business Operations / Hub P&C “chair” (People Business Partner -PBP for Medical and M&S Services acting as single point of contact for all hub related P&C topics towards the country/MCO P&C team)
  • Partner with PBPs of GBUs/GFs to design and implement the standard organisation design and P&C framework for the hub set-up, applying a design playbook

About you

Experience: Min 10year

Previous experience in comparable P&C business partner role or P&C leadership role in Global Capabilities Centre / Global Business Services industry. Proven ability to work in a matrix organisation in a multinational environment. Strong business acumen. Ability to manage data, show analytical thinking with clear communication, linking strategy & operational planning and convert strategy into local implementation plans. 

Soft skills: The ideal candidate is someone who can be hands-on and able to see the big picture to engage, influence P&C teams and business leaders across geographies. As a coach and advisor help others amplify their thinking, by providing constructive and objective advice, inspiration and challenge. 

Communication: Strong communication skills in English is required to work effectively across the countries, business functions and levels.
