Our scope includes all Supply chain processes: Customer Care, Logistics (Warehousing, Distribution and transportation), Supply chain planning (Distribution requirements planning, Demand planning, Integrated Business Planning, Inventory and Supply Planning) and Production/Scheduling Planning, across all Plants, Regions and Markets and for all Business units (GBUs).
You will contribute to empower the life of our patients worldwide by extracting meaning from data and providing tangible and actionable outcomes using the latest available technics and technologies (AI/ML/GenAI).

Main responsibilities:
- Lead SC Advanced Analytics strategy to provide GSC, SC GBUs and Markets advanced analytics capabilities like Forecast & Respond, Configure & Optimize, and Correlate & Automate to simplify, accelerate and improve impact of decision-making processes, in close collaboration with COE Heads.
- Manage external budget (>1M) and team of 7-9 Project Managers, Data Scientists, Business Analysts.
- Prioritize development and direct implementation of advanced analytics applications, leveraging cutting edge technologies (AI, ML, GenAI).
- Orchestrate the plan and execution and take decision on the trade-offs in project/solution delivery.
- Prepare Governance and ensure seamless integration of advanced analytics solutions within SC processes and adoption.
- Lead the build of advanced analytics solutions and ensures seamless integration within SC processes and adoption
- Define and run support model of applications through life cycle management, and steer continuous improvement.
- Act as a focal point to disseminate information, update, and share progress of ongoing projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Define and execute upskilling program and learning path for whole SC organization to increase level of digital and analytics savviness
- Animate the community of practice for analytics.
- Liaise with the SC teams in the plants, SC teams in the markets, SC Teams in Export DCs, Strategy & Excellence CoEs and Global SC representatives to agree on the overall strategy and priorities.
- Promotes in the team the continuous mining of data warehouses to identify trends and patterns to generate insights for business units and senior leadership in SC
- Promotes in the team continuous large-scale experimentation to identify hidden relationships between variables in large datasets, seeking for new use cases that bring value SC.
- Researches cutting-edge techniques and tools in machine learning/deep learning/artificial intelligence to make data analysis more efficient
- Ideate frameworks and processes to analyze unstructured information collected through social media platforms i.e., wikis, blogs, instant messaging, etc. and traditional sources such as e-mail and SharePoint
- Gather business needs in terms of data, data visualization, self-service analytics, automation, and value-driven optimization.
- Manage and execute roadmap and priorities based on business value for the business and feasibility
- Understand the complexity of the required solution and define the right design approach to the developing team.
- Identify opportunities for business-led delivery; coach employees to make use of technology and information. Infuse appetite for digital solutions.
- Think of user experience first, drive adoption
- Fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation and enabling the team to be at their best.
- Tracks project resources in terms of availability and level of expertise.
- Deliver projects with Agile methodology
- Lead and mentor the team of Project Managers, Data Scientists, Business Analysts.
- Support the development of supply chain strategies by providing data-driven insights.
- Lead design and integration into the business of advanced analytics and optimization tools that will enable Sanofi to increase efficiency and competitiveness for instance:
- Optimization: Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization, SC facilities localization, Milk run optimization, Routes determination
- Discrete Event simulation: Identification of bottle necks, validation of the inventory policy determined by MEIO
- Machine learning: KPI target settings, product segmentation, detection of abnormal patterns in systems usage
- AI/GenAI: SC GenAI assistant, OOS probabilistic prediction.
- Lead the interaction between the data scientists and business stakeholders
- Provide expertise in business processes design. Understands the decision-making process, workflows, and business and information needs of business unit heads in SC
- Drive best practices in analytics to delivery robust and reliable solutions meeting business requirements.
- Partner with Digital to deliver robust and reliable solutions meeting business requirements.
- Strive for standardization, simplification & digitization.
- Ensure that data is managed/analyzed in compliance with applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirements
- Lead innovation
About you
- Experience:
- +10/15 years of experience in Supply chain
- Strong background in Supply Chain Management AI, Digital, Data & Analytics.
- Significant Project Management experience, (Agile and Digital methodologies are a plus).
- Proven experience working in a data-centric business environment.
- Proven track record delivering business value through disruptive solutions
- Experience in a complex global organization
- SC operations experience is a plus
- Soft skills:
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive transformation and innovation; ability to engage and collaborate with external partners to develop and deliver short, medium- and long-term projects; demonstrated ability to collaborate & inspire at all levels across a matrix structure. High level of emotional intelligence and business integrity;
- Technical skills:
- Advanced software development skills in at least two of the standard data science languages (such as Python, R, Scala, C++, Julia), and with database systems (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, graph,..).
- Experienced working in cloud high-performance environments (e.g. Snowflake, AWS, GCP, Apache Spark).
- Advanced in AI/ML development (MLOps, CI/CD).
- Expertise in advanced statistical modelling, or broader aspects of mathematics such as optimization or deep ML expertise e.g NLP, imaging
- Advanced skills in PBI and QS and other data visualization tools.
- Languages: Fluent in English
