Join our Global Process Operations (GPO) team as a Treasury Process and Analytics Expert and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Treasury Organization.

As a Treasury Process and Analytics Expert, you will be part of the Treasury GPO team and will support the Treasury Global Process Owner (GPO) and the Treasury Global Process Leads (GPLs) in evolving the Treasury Core Model (TCM), standardizing, harmonizing, and optimizing the Treasury end-to-end processes, while ensuring compliance, spearheading innovation, and delivering data-driven insights.

The GPO organization is highly strategic within Sanofi's Treasury function and the broader organization. It drives Treasury Standardization and Transformation, determines how best to fulfill customer requirements, and leads the End-to-End Process Design and Target Operating Model, ensuring that Treasury delivers on its goals of business process optimization and compliance, while leveraging innovation in line with the Company’ Strategy.

Main responsibilities:

Core Model Evolution, Standards Management and Analytics

• Assist GPLs in documenting and maintaining Treasury processes according to BPM standards.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of internal controls and Key Business Rules.
• Create and enhance an analytical framework (using standard dashboards, KPIs, reports) to monitor process efficiencies, deviations, and process adherence.
• Assist in resolving definition conflicts within and between processes and with neighboring functions.
• Provide actionable insights to GPLs, answering key business questions through first-level analysis.
• Support the global Treasury training curriculum and support the delivery of training on processes and policies.
• Gather reporting business needs from Treasury Operational Excellence Leads and assess opportunities to translate those into Power BI visualizations or other dashboards.

Data Governance and Quality

• Support GPLs in data governance initiatives to maintain data quality, classification, privacy, and compliance.
• Support GPL’s in defining data quality rules and collaborate with Treasury Operational Leads to ensure rules are applied to each data asset and support resolution of quality issues at the source.
• Connect data-related issues with their business impacts and make decisions regarding data assets' quality, access, and usage.
• Support Treasury Operational Excellence Leads in terms of maintaining high-quality, consistent, and accurate master and reference data across processes, systems, and applications.

Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration

• Support GPLs in animating Treasury Key Users community.
• Support GPLs in Cross-functional Coordination consulting with related departments (P2P, CI2C, A2R, HRS) to support integration efforts.
• Support adoption and deep understanding of data management and data analytics tools within the organization.
• Assist in coordinating with Business Operations Process Excellence and Innovation as well as Digital team for technology implementations.
• Teach and train impacted users to democratize data usage.
• Support GPLs with Business Process Management tools.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Experience in Treasury management.
• Experience in business process optimization, and advanced data analytics.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data visualization tools.
• Experience in business process modeling, analysis, and improvement.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a talent for explaining complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive change.
• Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.

Technical Proficiencies

• Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Financial software and tools: Excel, SAP ideally SAP Treasury or other Treasury Management Systems.
• Business process modeling software (e.g., Visio, Signavio).
• Collaborative tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Data governance and quality management tools.
• Financial markets, instruments, and risk management.
• Problem-solving and strategic thinking.
