Country Security Head

The Sanofi Country Security Manager Ukraine is responsible for the effective management of all security risks of the country organization: personnel, facilities, assets, and information. The role is the first point of contact for the country management team in security related questions and will operationally manage all security issues the affiliate is facing. The role is also responsible for the implementation of global security policies and the development of local procedures.

Key Responsibilities 

• Establishment of a security culture by addressing the topic in the country leadership team and winning their support for the cause. Developing and giving security trainings for different target groups on all levels of the company.
• Constant monitoring and reporting of the local political and security situation and the assessment of potential security risks for the Sanofi affiliate (its employees, assets, operations, information).
• Based on the risk assessment and security requirements outlined in global policies, taking appropriate measures to mitigate security risks for Sanofi.
• Reporting incidents, outlining security response measures, and effectively managing cases. 
• Implementation and maintaining different programs owned by the Global Security Team (Crisis Management, People & Event Security, Site Security, Information Protection & Insider Risk, Product Security)
• Maintaining an active network within the company and with relevant authorities and associations.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for local law enforcement in instances of security concerns.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• A minimum of 3 years in security management or a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Proven experience in risk prevention and crisis management.
• Proficiency in product protection best practices.
• Familiarity with site protection best practices.
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to security.
• Demonstrated traits of rigor, discretion, relational capacity, and proactive approach.
• Ability to identify risks and effectively report them.
• Strong conviction and team spirit to promote and instill a culture of product protection among colleagues.
• Capability to collaborate within a professional network effectively.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies.

Skills:

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically, analyze complex security issues, and develop effective solutions.
• Computer literacy: Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Ms Excel, MS PowerPoint, Ms Outlook.
• Knowledge of English: written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Driving license.
